iCloud Storage Almost Full?

If you’re getting messages that your iCloud storage is almost full, you can save a ton of space by removing duplicate photos from your photo library. And the best thing about this is it’s easy to do. Here are the steps.

Make sure you’ve upgraded your IOS to a minimum of 16.

Open your photo library on your iPhone.

Select Albums then scroll to the bottom of the screen and under Utilities you’ll see Duplicates. Tap on that and here you’ll see a collection of your duplicate photos and videos.

You’re not actually going to delete the photos. What Apple has done is created the option to merge the exact photos with one another. You can review each one separately, or you can Select All from the top of the screen then press Merge from the bottom of the screen and let your phone do the work for you in a single step.

Once it’s done – and it’s done pretty quickly – the folder should be empty.

That’s all there is to it!

Give it a go and see how much space you can instantly create on your phone and iCloud. Don’t you wish all technology was this simple?
